AMBITION INTRODUCTORY

                              Salvador Dali once said "Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings." The meaning of the quote is that there's no meaning in life without something that pushes you to your goals in life.  This quote is valid because having ambition is having a motive to complete your set goals to be successful is clearly seen in the book MY Time Nighttime is time by Mary Higgins Clark. Higgins Clark  provides many verity of views of ambition. Such as the ambition of a man who wants to murder all the women the rejected him in high school, to six characters who had ambition that was transformed into success and finally an ambition of a detective to find the answer to a murder without knowing that there's more that are going to follow.

       My dad is my hero ! He has gone through many struggles all  his life.Starting out with the loss of his father(my grandpa) at the you age of twelve. After that men killed him to death trying to rob his father.He later on instead of accomplishing his education he got out of school and started working helping out his mom(my grandma).He later had to deal with his mom getting married.Despite all the painful struggles he was able to meet his love of his life(my mom)and he get married and have five girls.My dad wakes up each morning for work with the motivation to give us the best life he can.Despite growing up without a father.My dad is a great hard ,working, caring man.

                   I AM not a quitter and strong minded
                       I WANT if im going to find who it was
                       I SEE the file sitting in my desk

                      I PERTEND like if its not bothering me but it is
                      I FEEL horrible and guilty for not being able to know                                    what happened and who did it.                   

                     I TOUCH the papers trying to find out what I was                                              missing.
                    I WORRY that I am not going to solve this                                       I CRY out for help to be able to solve this.

Life is a garden they said where you can build your own dreams.
But all I see is nightmares gasping for breathe when I scream.

Summary:This story is about a man  who has the ambition of killing all the women who rejected him in the Stonecroft Academy.
Reason of choosing:The topic of book really captured my attention.I really enjoyed the opening chapter because it was a unique introduction.
Authors style:The author does not stay in one of the characters perspective.It changes one to another from the killer,to the victim,to the the detective.She writes in first person then changes to third period.
